Life
ROSARIO ALAIR Mini Biography ROSARIO ALAIR was born Rosario MAIOLINO to Rosario and Maria MAIOLINO in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. Growing up in an Italian American neighborhood Rosario has a rich ethnic background. Rosario¿s father is a fine artist in the medium of oil painting and Rosario¿s mother was a seamstress. Rosario attended St. Donato¿s grade school where he first became interested in the stage and acting in plays. He took an active part in school plays including the story of Christ where he built a six foot cross used in the play when he was ten years old. Rosario played a Roman soldier in the play and realized then that he had an affinity for acting. Rosario¿s interest in the stage carried into high school and college where he played various character roles. Rosario graduated from Ottawa University and went on to pursue a career in Anesthesia graduating from the Medical College of Pennsylvania school of Anesthesia. During these demanding years in establishing a career in Anesthesia Rosario was unable to participate in stage and acting and consequently went onto a busy practice in Anesthesia in both a hospital practice and a private practice in plastic surgery. Rosario¿s passion for the stage was to be reclaimed later in life in a strategy that would give him back his freedom to practice this great art. The strategy was investment in an important industry that would be focused and produce amazing results. The results were breath taking when in March 2000 his story produced his debut on the cover of Money Magazine with a two page pictorial and article spread in the middle of the magazine.
